We have clients around The Beaulieu National Motor Museum in The New Forest, including Lyndhurst and Brokenhurst. We also cover the areas towards, and surrounding Southampton, Fareham and Portsmouth.

Special Branch Tree Services is owned and managed by Jim Mabey – N.C.Arb Level 2 Qualified Arborist. Jim has been in the industry working as a professional climbing Arborist for almost 16 years. he has climbed in the U.S.A for a year back in 2002 – 2003 gaining much experience abroad.
Jim has run Special Branch Tree Services since 2004. Jim, along with his staff are City & Guilds N.P.T.C qualified and carry Arboricultural qualifications including National Certificate in Arboriculture & National Diploma in Arboriculture. Jim has Lantra awarded accreditation in Tree Surveying and inspection.
We also offer a 24 hour emergency storm damage service, including the removal of hazardous / dangerous trees. We use the latest & up to date equipment which is thoroughly maintained & regularly inspected. We pride our selves on the high level of skill & professional tree works carried out in the safest environment, protecting our clients property etc.
Through extensive experience we provide our clients with good sound advise for the care of their trees, properties and well being. We also carry out consultancy works which include tree surveys – V.T.A’s – Visual Tree Assessments, a world wide used methodology in identifying hazardous trees etc., compiled into a legally accepted report for clients to utilise in the safe management & retention of trees located with in high risk areas, such as used for the enjoyment by the general public, including Schools, Activity areas, parks, residential streets, Gardens, Car parks, housing estates & woodland areas. V.T.A’s identify possible hazards etc, giving our Clients a structured and well planned management system to help maintain and care for their trees.
All tree works are carried out to BS3998-10 revised and with in good Arboricultural practices.
We work closely along side multiple planning authority's / local councils. We also provide a free service on submitting planning applications for trees covered by T.P.O’s – (Tree preservation Orders) And works with in Conservation areas etc.
We are fully insured, offering £5,000,000, Public Liability & £1,000,000 Employers liability. We carry £1,000,000 Professional indemnity for all tree surveys carried out.
Our main aim is to help educate the general public on the importance of trees in our life cycle and the care for the environment including wildlife and habitat, also to provide them with sensible and accurate advise on how to care for their trees.
